Join us for an introductory webinar on SplashFOAM, a user-friendly Graphical User Interface (GUI) developed for OpenFOAM®, the widely used open-source computational fluid dynamics (CFD) code. SplashFOAM aims to simplify CFD simulations, providing an intuitive platform that bridges the gap between academic study and industry needs.
This webinar will explore SplashFOAM's current capabilities and its role as a supplementary tool to commercial software like ANSYS Fluent. We will discuss its easy-to-use interface, ongoing enhancements to solver functionality, and tools for efficient mesh generation, all integrated seamlessly with OpenFOAM. While still under development, SplashFOAM offers a practical approach to streamlining complex CFD workflows for both novices and seasoned users.
Additionally, we will outline the benefits of using an in-house version of SplashFOAM, which supports a cost-effective and collaborative environment for tailored CFD applications in academic research.
